A snow day on Bright Road
Happy Sunday y’all!!
Here in Central Ohio, it has been a crazy weekend. We’ve earned some Sunday relaxation. My family was sent home early on Friday from work & school. The rain was turning to ice and thankfully a lot of schools and businesses opted for safety. Time for a snow day!
Thursday, after I wrote my last post, I headed to Lowe’s to see what I could come up with for my giant ruler. I really want to try to do something different. I didn’t feel well so I headed home to bed—where I stayed until Saturday morning when I made it as far as the couch. The weekend isn’t over and there is still some daylight left in today but I’m not feeling super energetic so I think I’m going to cocoon in my sweet little ranch. I’m going to put some hot tea in the mug I got for my birthday, peruse through those new magazines and scroll through instagram for a while. (Only a few weeks into this, you should be sensing a theme. I’m a fan of being cozy.)
Earlier, I ventured all the way to Dayton earlier to take care of some soccer mom business. I think I deserve to take the rest of this snow day to relax, recuperate and recharge. Sometimes, you just have to do it. Lucky for me, my down time coincided with a storm that sort of forced us all into a time out. I just hope the groceries hold out. I REALLY don’t want to have to run to the store tonight.
A blanket of snow
Because photos make a post, I snapped a little photo of Our Bright Road today. See how pretty she is in a blanket of snow. She’s quirky but I sure do love her! Can you see any changes from previous photos?
