Herringbone Table you can DIY

If you follow me on Instagram, you were probably clued in to this project.  If not,  I’d love it if you would. At any rate, I will be writing a FULL tutorial but in the meantime, I just had to share!!  I made a herringbone table and I’m in looooove!!  What do you think?

As is typical around here, this table came from a “one thing leads to another” moment.  Try to keep up as I ramble through it.  My husband had to work from home for a while so we had to maneuver an area to accommodate two desks.  As we moved furniture around, I put my old desktop on top of my kitchen table to have it out of the way.  I couldn’t help but notice the desktop size was a WAY better kitchen table size than my current table.  I began to have kitchen table envy and started to figure out how to fix that. After seeing an awesome herringbone table on Pinterest, I knew what I wanted to do. 

This project didn’t cost a ton of money.  I’d say it took a medium amount of woodworking skills but I’d also say those skills could be learned without much effort.   And finally, it didn’t take much time.  You can build it in a weekend.  I’m still blown away that for the amount of money and effort I put in, I have this herringbone table I’m so in love with!
